FAQ

Below are a few most commonly asked questions.

If you have additional questions feel free to email me! l.bridge@linkbstudios.com

  1. RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY:

All sales are final. Please take the time to read my listing descriptions carefully, and check colors on different screens if color variation is a concern. I attempt to photograph each piece of work to capture it’s most honest, and true-to-life color representation, but realize the colors may vary slightly in person.

  2. DO YOU TAKE COMMISSIONS?

Yes, I take a certain amount of commissions and am happy to hear about your ideas. Please fill out the form below to get started. Please note, timing on completion of commissions is dependent on my availability and other commitments. First come, first serve.

  3. DO YOU OFFERING FRAMING?

In short, I highly encourage framing original artwork. Not only do they look incredibly beautiful framed, but it will help to protect your fresh artwork. I partner with a local framing company, Renditions Fine Art Framing Center, located in Indianapolis and currently offer framing services for an additional fee.

I typically use FLOATER FRAMES for my abstract oil and resin paintings because they create the illusion that your artwork is “floating” within the frame instead of being covered by it. I use a wrapped canvas for this framing style and no glass is used to cover the artwork. It’s clean and classic and allows the artwork to shine all on its own.

That being said, I’m also a sucker for an elaborate gold frame for my plein air paintings. Also classic, but in a completely different way. These frames are works of art on their own and you will find they are not the most affordable option, but gosh they make me swoon. When I visit a museum, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve admired the frames first and then the artwork. Don’t tell anyone, but the craftsmanship has to be admired.

  4. DO YOU OFFER PRINTS?

I’m in the process of creating reproductions. I will advertise beforehand via social media, my blog, and mailing list. My plan is to offer Giclee reproductions, which is a very fancy printer that uses a wide range of inks applied very finely as a spray.

I plan to make all giclee reproductions ‘Made to Order’, meaning your order will take 7-10 days to arrive at my studio, then I will add hand embellishments, so no two prints are alike.

*For resin reproductions, I will mount your print to board and add a thin layer of resin to the top, for the appearance of an original resin painting.

  5. HOW WILL MY ARTWORK BE SHIPPED?

    Originals:

Oil paintings take a substantial amount of time to dry. I will not ship a painting before it is ready to be tightly packaged (4-7 weeks from painting completion).

All artwork is wrapped in paper, padded extremely well, and sent in a well-fitting sturdy cardboard box.

Most artwork will ship via USPS or UPS, and most packages arrive within 2-4 days (domestic) from time of shipping (includes tracking & insurance). International shipments will be sent via USPS or other carrier. International buyers, please note that shipping charges may vary from the amount you pay at checkout. Please email me with questions or to get an estimate.

Artwork larger than 50 inches is sent un-stretched and rolled safely in a sturdy tube (this only applies to oil paintings). I will then work with a local framer to build the support bars and stretch the canvas. This usually costs between $100-200 depending on the size and location.

If you prefer to ship your large painting fully stretched, it will be expertly shipped and the painting will be delivered right to your home ($300-500).

*Note: Resin paintings cannot be un-stretched and rolled in a tube for delivery, so plan your budget accordingly to account for shipping.

  6. CAN I PICK UP MY ARTWORK FROM YOUR STUDIO?

Yes, of course! I love guests and are very welcome to pick up your original artwork in person at my studio in Indianapolis, Indiana. Use the code “LinkBPickup” at checkout to forgo shipping fees altogether and we will work out a time to meet via email.

  7. RETURNS:

All sales of original artwork are final, but please know that every order, commission, and sale is handled with care and as much clarity and transparency as possible.

    • My artwork arrived damaged OR was not delivered OR was lost OR was stolen from my doorstep. Is this something you can help with? Link.b Studios is not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service (USPS, FedEx or UPS), and not liable for any damage incurred post-delivery. Each order is packaged very carefully. Please be kind when reaching out and remember I have no control over the treatment of your package in transit! It’s just as much of a disappointment for me to see my work damaged.

That being said, this is how we typically handle situations that fall outside of our control:

Not Delivered / Lost / Stolen: If your package is marked “Delivered” and is nowhere to be found, please check your confirmation email to ensure that you input the correct shipping address. If the address is correct and you believe your package has been lost or stolen, you must contact the shipping service personally. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything I can do on my end, so I’m unable to address any failed delivery or theft issues directly.

  8. STOCKISTS & GALLERIES: I am grateful you would like to display my artwork on your walls and in your shop! Gallery owners, please send me an email to discuss your idea! l.bridge@linkbstudios.com

  9. INTERIOR DESIGNERS: I love working with designers because I love it when my artwork lives in a beautifully looking room! Please email me at l.bridge@linkbstudios.com. I do not offer discounts on original paintings nor do I allow my work to be marked up without consent.

  10. WHO OWNS THE PAINTING?

I retain all rights to the artwork I create and cannot be reproduced or published without my consent. Please email me at l.bridge@linkbstudios.com for further questions.
